How to I rent a storage unit / Locker?

Its easy!  Head to our locations page and find the facility nearest you.  Take a look at our available units and prices and determine what is best for you.   Go to the "reserve now" section to set it up from our website and or contact us and speak to a storage expert.

How do I determine which unit size to rent?

Contact your faculty to speak with a storage expert to use our self –storage calculator.  This can be found on the "reserve now" section of our website.  Be sure to have an idea of what you intend to store to ensure an accurate unit size estimation.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No. At Locked Up Tight llc, we offer leases on a month-to-month basis.  The business does offer a discount for a year lease upon signing a contract.

Do you have locks available?  Do I have to provide my own.

You can provide your own lock if you wish.  We do have a durable lock for your unit, which can be purchased when you rent your storage unit.  The cost of this lock is $20.00.  Please note that if you are using your own lock and payment is not received within the guidelines of the agreement Locked Up Tight llc and has to take over ownership of your unit your lock will be cut and one of our locks will be put on your unit.

Am I able to store my store my RV, Boat, Car, motorcycle, equipment and or tractor-trailer?

All vehicles can be stored inside our large units at the facilities.  If they are inside one of the units the vehicles the renter will need to disconnect the battery, and can be charged for any fluid stains that may come from the vehicle.  We offer outside vehicle and boat storage at some of our facilities, but not all.  Contact the office for clarification and availability.

What is the difference between access hours and office hours?

During office hours, the property manager is at the office offering face-to-face service.  Stop by during office hours to pay your bill, ask questions, or get set up with a storage unit.  Enter your gate code into the keypad to access your storage unit.  Depending on what time you need to access your unit, a property manager may not be there to assist you.  The access and office hours will be posted on the contact page on our website for clarification of such hours.

What items am I not allowed to store in the units.

Tenants are not allowed to store fireworks, explosives, chemicals, fertilizers, paint, gasoline, narcotics and propane tanks.  Other items that aren’t allowed include perishable food, medicine, plants, and animals.
